Well it's time to update the family blog! And as of now I have the time! Woo-hoo!!!
The past few weeks have been busy, busy, busy! We have had most to all of our weekends booked with things to do for Lizzie.
On the first Saturday in October, we met up with a mom's group, that I have recently joined. All of the mommas in the group are working women, which is great- because most of their meet-ups/outings are on weekends!!
Here we are at a park in Cary, NC. It was a terrific park too! A variety of playground equipment and loads of kids to play with.
Lizzie & Jordan.
Lizzie's favorite thing to do at the park was swing!
Just look at how happy she is!

The next day (Sunday) we went to Hill Ridge Farms Pumpkin Patch. This place was awesome! They had a kiddie maze, animals, a gigantic slide, a corn playhouse, a tee-pee, a pumpkin patch, a train, etc. Lizzie had such a good time.
Here she is in the Kiddie Maze.
Playing around with Mommy and Daddy.
Playing in the Corn House. Look at all that corn!
Yes, we took her down this gigantic slide.
Getting ready to take a tractor hay ride to the pumpkin patch!
Our family of three!
Pumpkins galore!
Lizzie walked over to the first pumpkin she saw and sat down. We (Jordan and I) officially declared it her pumpkin and it is actually a pretty good looking' pumpkin!

Lizzie and her pumpkin.
Enjoying her moment with her pumpkin.
This is Lizzie on the ride home from the pumpkin patch. :)
A few weekends later, Jordan and I took Lizzie to a "bounce house" called Monkey Joe's. I highly, highly recommend it! We had such a great time!!
Here is a picture of Lizzie and I going down one of the many slides at Monkey Joe's.
Jordan took Lizzie up the biggest slide in the place. She enjoyed it immensely!
After Jordan took her down, I got to take her down the big slide too. Just look at her face!
We met up with some of our friends: Andrea and her little girl, Coraline. The girls hadn't seen each other in a month or so. Here they are getting acquainted with each other again.
In the Bounce House.
Andrea, Coraline, Jordan, and Lizzie had a race down one of the slides. Just look at Lizzie's face! Coraline isn't so sure!
Fun had by all!
Andrea and Coraline! What great friends!
We put Coraline and Lizzie in the Kiddie Area (Adults are not allowed in here). Look at these two girls! Aren't they just as precious as can be?!!
Back to the slides again!

This past Tuesday, I took a day off of work and we went as a family to the NC State Fair. We had a lot of fun!
Here is a picture of this lady who was dressed up as a vine! She was stationed in the garden section of the fairgrounds (Where they judge all the pumpkins, roses, cactus, other plants). She was awesome! She looks like an arch in this one and her foliage is a bit darker than the real trees. She is hard to spot in this picture!
PS- Lizzie had a mishap on the driveway the night before we took her to the State Fair. She was taking medicine for a rash (that would never clear up) and it made her a bit dizzy. We were walking on the driveway and she fell down on her face! Her nose and the tip of her upper lip were scraped up a bit and she was very upset, but after 15 minutes of TLC she was back to being "Lizzie".
We took Lizzie to the foul house. She was able to see geese, turkeys, chickens, ducks, peacocks, and guinea foul.
As you can see, Lizzie is not really a fan of loud obnoxious roosters!
Looking at the chicks!
We took Lizzie on some of the rides at the Fair. Here we are on one of the Ferris wheels. She really enjoyed it.
The next ride we took her on was the carousel. Let's see if you can tell if Lizzie liked that ride or not!
