Lizzie and Jordan looking at one of the large aquarium tanks.
A giant catfish. Apparently these types of fish live in Falls Lake. I would hate for one of these things to grab for your toes.
Hey Jaws! I think you lost your teeth!
I love this look on Lizzie's face. You can almost hear her say "Cheeeeeese!"
She had a blast grabbing at the lens of the camera.

Her "Popeye Grin".

Funny shot of Lizzie.

After the aquarium, we headed to the beach. Since we were on the NC coast, I requested that we take Lizzie to the beach so she could see the water. Well, unfortunately while we were touring the aquarium, a cold front moved in and the outside temperature dropped from the mid-70s to the 60s! Plus, it was rainy and windy. We were not dressed for chilly weather, and as soon as Jordan and I stuck our feet into the water- we decided that it was too chilly to put our little girl's toes in. The girl would for sure hate the beach if we did so. Therefore, we only put Lizzie down in the sand for a second to feel the sand. I'm so glad we live only a few hours from the beach or I would have been upset. There will be many more beach days ahead for this little girl. She LOVED looking at the water though!

Jordan being his usually dorky self. :)
Jordan wanted to take a picture of Lizzie and I by the sand shark, but the camera wasn't really cooperating. As soon as one of the sand sharks would swim past us above our heads, he would try and snap the picture- but the camera would hesitate. I love technology!
